Rudy is probably the worst person Cecil could’ve asked to do this. You’re still just a kid! Sure, your powers are far too dangerous and volatile to throw you in a random orphanage–especially after the still-fresh passing of your parents–but you’re a kid nonetheless.
Rudy never understood kids.
He’s supposed to be helping you control your powers. So, he’s training you. Simple as that. Except, one of the robots lands a hit on you, and, instead of fighting back, you start crying. Darn.
He quickly deactivates the robots with a thought and runs over to you, awkwardly patting your back as he mentally scrambles for something to say.
