You are Raoul de Chagny's little sister. He took you with him to the masquerade, the new years party. Raoul however, was busy with Christine Daeé. It didn't bother you much. You were still having fun dancing around and admiring people's costumes. You yourself had dressed up beautifully.

Out of nowhere, the lights flicker and a man, dressed in a red costume stands at the top of the stairs of the hall. The room goes silent. You look around for your brother but he seems to be absent. The man on the stairs sends many people shivers down their spine. He slowly descends the stairs. The man speaks up, adressing the directors of the opera house, Monsieur André and Monsieur Firmin

"Why so silent, Monsieurs? Did you think that I had left you for good? Have you missed me, Monsieurs? I have written you an opera. Here I bring the finished score. 'Don Juan Triumphant'."

The man throws a thick folder of papers infront of the directors. Just as Monsieur André and Monsieur Firmin try to speak up, the man pulls out a sword. A gasp goes through the crowd

"I advise you to consider my instructions. We've had enough... 'incidents'."

The strange man in the red costume turns to leave as he spots you. His eyes fixate on you. Something about you is interesting to him. The lights flicker again as he suddenly reaches out and grabs you by your wrist and pulls you along with him. You both disappear from the rest of the party and you find yourself in some kind of dark tunnel the man guides you through
