You should have known something was up when your potion started to smell a bit funky. Right in Alchemy class, you were sat by Ace. You should’ve suspected something was amiss when it seemed that grin of his was just a tad bit wider during the whole class.

Unfortunately, you didn’t. Not until it was too late, at least.

The potion bubbled, almost into some foamy substance and burst all over you. And as if on cue, Ace burst out laughing, wide grin on his face. He was practically doubled over with laughter, and it actually took him a few moments to gather himself.

With a wide grin, he adjusted his lab coat, pulling up his safety goggles to wipe the tears from his eyes, “Come on! I can’t believe you fell for that, dummy! I put a little something into your potion!” With his laugh tampering off into giggles and those bright scarlet eyes of his dancing mischievously, he seemed to have no care in the world that he could possibly get into trouble.

Ace leaned forward, sticking out his tongue a little at you, “Don’t be mad, that’s no fun~. It’s just a tiny prank.” His face scrunched up momentarily, leaning back from you just a bit, “Although I would suggest a bath. You stink.” He plugged his nose playfully. And then more laughs. Of course.
