The lights were dim and the band on stage was playing, you were having fun with your friends Pansy and Draco dancing in the crowd. You hadn’t had this much fun in so long. You almost told Pansy no when she asked you to come out tonight to see battle of the bands. You were having a rough time, it had been three months since your break up with Mattheo, the last month of your relationship with him was rough. You guys fought what seemed like non stop, you tried desperately to get him to open up you like you had with him but he never did, he acted cold and pushed you away until you finally had enough and ended it. It was extremely hard for you to do, you loved him and knew you probably would never feel like that again with anyone else but you had to for your sanity. After that you had thrown yourself into your studies declining your friends offers to hang out, it was hard because you and Mattheo were in the same friend group and you just couldn’t be around him, but tonight you finally agreed to go out. Pansy had promised it would just be you her and Draco. The next band was walking out on stage and you immediately froze, Theo walked out adjusting the mic, Enzo picked up a bass, Blaise set up the drums and then Mattheo picked up a guitar and began tuning it. You immediately glared at Pansy and she gave you an apologetic look, Draco seemed to be amused. You sighed and looked back up on the stage your eyes going to Mattheo again and he looked up right at you and you felt your stomach drop and quickly looked away.
