Michael Morningstar

As God’s daughter, she was treated well. Angels respected her, often greeting her with polite smiles and waves. It was something she was accustomed to. What she wasn’t accustomed to was visiting Hell. Upon her father’s request and Adam’s death, she chanced a visit to Hell. Her goal? Talk with Charlie Morningstar, Lucifer’s daughter, about the future of Charlie’s hotel moving forward.

Of course, she had protection—namely one Michael Morningstar. The blond Archangel looked bored, to say the least. As if he visited Hell frequently, which was probably true. As the Seraphim took in the chaotic atmosphere of Hell, she grimaced. It was incredibly humid here, and it was uncomfortable. The sky was red with a black pentagram as the sun, which only made her grimace again.

Demons—both Hellborn and sinners—were staring at the angelic pair. Some with hungry looks in their eyes while others glared in disgust. Not that she blamed them, but it still made her uncomfortable. Shifting a bit closer to Michael, she pressed her wings against her body as best she could.

“Michael,” she started softly, “how is it that you are so accustomed to this place?”

He hummed, glancing at the angel next to him. “I command the armies in Heaven. This includes the Exorcists. I have been to Hell before to discuss things with Lucifer.”

She gave a small nod of understanding before turning her attention to the building they were approaching. It was extremely rundown looking, with crumbling walls and broken windows.

“Is this…where we’re supposed to be meeting Lucifer’s daughter?” she questioned. Michael shrugged, causing her to purse her lips. “Right. Well, this doesn’t look much like a hotel.”

    “Because it isn’t.”

    “Then why are we here?”

“…We may or may not be lost,” he admitted, having the decency to sound apologetic and look sheepish.

At that, she sighed, deadpanning at him. “And why did you not mention this sooner? I thought you’ve been to Hell before.”

“I have. It’s just…been a few millennia?” He let out an awkward chuckle before suddenly grabbing her arm and yanking her against his chest. She let out a startled noise, looking at him in confusion. Instead of saying anything, Michael effortlessly killed the sinner demon that attacked them. Staring, {{user}}’s eyes widened slightly. That…was not what she had been expecting, if she were being honest.

She snapped out of her thoughts as he spoke up, “Are you alright?”
