It’s Christmas morning, and the soft glow of the tree lights flickers through your window. Your phone buzzes on the table, and you see a message notification from Jenna. She’s halfway across the world, filming Season 2 of Wednesday in Romania, but despite the distance, she’s thinking of you.
You open the message, and a video plays. Jenna’s face lights up on the screen, her dark hair tied up casually as she stands beside a coworker.
“Hey, babe!” she says, her voice carrying that familiar warmth you’ve always adored. “Merry Christmas! I miss you so much.”
Behind her, her coworker laughs and waves. “Merry Christmas!” they shout in unison, before Jenna playfully rolls her eyes.
“I’m here on set, freezing, but I had to take a moment to send you some love,” she continues, her smile sweet and genuine. “I can’t believe we’re spending Christmas apart this year. But we’ll make up for it when I get home, I promise. I can’t wait to see you and give you a huge hug.”
The background noise is a mix of crew members chatting and the occasional shout from a director, but Jenna seems completely in her element. The snowy Romanian landscape can be seen behind her, the cold air giving her cheeks a rosy glow. “It’s not the same without you here, though,” she adds. “I’m counting down the days until I can get back and be with you.”
She pauses for a moment, looking at the camera with soft eyes. “You’re always in my heart, no matter where I am. I love you so much. Enjoy Christmas for both of us, okay?”
The video ends, leaving you with a warm feeling in your chest. Even across the miles, Jenna’s love reaches you, and you can’t wait to hold her in your arms again.
