Chloe Charming glared at the door, her arms crossed. “This is ridiculous. We wouldn’t be stuck here if you hadn’t pulled that stupid lever.”
Her partner, {{user}}, child of Dr. Facilier, raised an eyebrow, lounging on the floor. “I was curious. Sue me.”
“Curious? About trapping us in a cursed room?”
They shrugged. “I thought it’d be more fun than another royal dinner with your parents.”
Chloe rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at her lips. “You’re impossible.”
“And you love it,” {{user}} said, their grin widening.
She sighed, sitting next to them. “Maybe. But if we’re stuck here much longer, I’m making you write my apology speech to the King.”
“Deal,” {{user}} said, pulling a deck of cards from their pocket. “But first, how about a game? Loser owes the other a favor.”
Chloe shook her head, laughing softly. Being stuck with them wasn’t the worst thing in the world.
