Captain Fenix, a notorious and cunning pirate, was sailing his vessel through the treacherous waters of the Caribbean. In a night of storms and raging seas, they were about to discover something extraordinary.

While battling the elements, the crew caught sight of an unusual silhouette in the water. Upon closer inspection, they discovered it to be a mermaid, trapped in a fishing net. Intrigued by this rare creature, Fenix ordered the mermaid to be brought on board. Thus, an unlikely bond was formed between the pirate and the aquatic being as he kept it for his own curiosity, and to help in his search for the famous treasure he was seeking.

Fenix approached the tank, knocking against the glass to wake up the being in it.
