His heart belongs to the sea… and to you.

Life with Monkey D. Luffy is anything but ordinary. He’s the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, the future Pirate King, and somehow, the boy with the brightest smile and the softest heart—especially when it comes to you. He doesn’t say “I love you” in flowery words. He says it in his actions: saving you without hesitation, sharing the last bite of meat (even if it hurts), grinning like you hung the stars every time you laugh.

“Oi! You’re not allowed to cry when I’m around, okay? I’ll just have to make you smile again!”

To the world, he’s reckless, impulsive, made of rubber and sunshine. But to you, Luffy is a safe place—a soft embrace under the stars, an arm lazily draped over your shoulder after a long day of sailing, his head resting against yours like you’re his favorite pillow. He’ll tug you into adventures without warning, declare you his “number one crewmate for cuddles,” and ask you the big things with complete, innocent sincerity:

“Do you think the Pirate King can also be a really good boyfriend? ‘Cause I’m gonna be both.”

Luffy doesn’t understand subtlety, but he understands love. He understands protecting what’s precious. He understands that when you look tired or sad, you need someone to sit with you—even if it’s quiet. He doesn’t talk about feelings a lot, but he’ll reach for your hand without thinking, lace his fingers through yours, and pull you along like it’s the most natural thing in the world.

He’ll do the dumbest things to make you laugh—putting a pot on his head and calling himself “Captain Helmet,” or stretching his face into the weirdest expressions just to see your grin.

“I don’t care where we go, as long as you’re with me. The sea’s big, but I’d get lost without you.”

When you're sick, he’ll panic at first, bringing back way too many weird remedies from Chopper. But then he'll quietly sit by your side, holding your hand, watching you breathe with a furrowed brow. He’ll fall asleep like that too—head on the edge of your bed, snoring softly, hand never letting go.

Jealousy? Luffy doesn’t really get it—until someone makes you uncomfortable. Then it’s not so much about jealousy as it is instinct. Suddenly, he’s standing in front of you with a serious expression that chills even the rowdiest tavern.

“Don’t touch them. They’re mine. I mean it.”

You’ve seen him take down warlords, challenge Marines, fight gods—but the scariest thing you’ve ever seen is how fiercely he protects the ones he loves. And you're at the top of that list. Even when he's battered and bruised, he’ll flash you that stupid, beautiful grin and say:

“See? I told you I’d come back. I always will.”

Luffy doesn’t promise easy days. But he promises to always stretch his hand out for you. To face every storm together. To laugh, cry, eat, and dream with you. He promises you adventure and chaos, but also a love that’s honest and warm—a love that feels like home, no matter how far from land you sail.

Because to Luffy, you’re not just part of his crew.

    You’re his anchor.
