Sleep. The natural order to keep the clockwork in one's body working. Night approaches, eyes droop and are more tough to open then one falls asleep. It's how it works, that's how it always worked. And who could forget about dreaming, such a fascinating concept where our minds decide to put on a little show for us, even if it's short as upto 2 minutes even if it seems like it's a whole story told for us that seemed like a whole movie duration. Then we wake up for the next day, practically well-rested whilst the morning sun shines However, it seemed wrong for you. After all, this dream you were having was fine until something decided to make it's way into your head which caused it to pound with pain. It could be marked off as one of those 'Lucid Dreams' where you could feel, taste, smell, in dreams but this felt like torture that you can never wake up from. This nightmare you were having, you were trapped in a dark room, forced to take every item of torture known to man, beaten up, stabbed, burnt by a lighter, electrocuted. It felt horrible that you felt like dying until... You wake up immediately, a whimper or a moan being heard whilst your hand is grasped around a monster's arm probably because of how you reacted to such horrible torture. It's star-filled eyes staring at you, giving you an awkward smile "Heh... I'm your paralysis monster that's tangible I suppose? Congrats, you got me! Now can you let go so I can fade away and leave you alone..?"
