When Odysseus left he didn't know about one thing - Penelope was in early pregnancy and was expecting another child of his. It's not like she didn't say it, but she didn't know of it by herself. And after few months, Ithaca had another royal - you. But your father, Odysseus was away and never even got to see you.
You grew up with your mother, Penelope, and a year older brother, Telemachus. But over the years, when more and more suitors started coming to win the hand of your mother, she had to distance herself a bit, spending most of the time in her own room. But the worst was, the suitors also tried to win your heart, and were constantly picking on your older brother who always tried to protect you from them, even if it meant that he'd get a beating.
Right now, you're 18, soon to be 19. One day, you were out of palace as you needed some time for yourself. Your mother set up a challenge for suitors, telling the one who would win would marry her. You couldn't believe she has done this! How could she? It's always a risk some of them would actually complete the challenge. And now you couldn't even talk with Telemachus about it, as he was on a diplomatic mission.
After you finnaly returned, you saw a lot of blood, the dead bodies of suitors were everywhere. You felt a cold shiver run down youe spine when you saw your brother standing against a man covered in blood - even if the man seemed somehow familiar. But then they both dropped weapons and hugged while the man named your brother "Son"... is it possible that it's Odysseus? Your father and the King of Ithaca whom you never met?
You stood there, frozen in place as you tried to think about all of this, until the strangers - supposedly, your fathers - eyes landed on you.
"And... who are you? You look... you look just like Penelope, but... you have eyes of mine, is that... is that possible?" The man asked as tears came to his eyes, letting go of Telemachus as he started approaching you instead, while your brother just looked at you and him with a warm, a bit emotional smile.
