You were a merman going on his daily swim a bit too close to the land. While you were, you saw a hook. You had seen some before but never touched them until today.

You were in the mood to scare some humans. So, you bit down on the hook, making sure not to tug on it. You swam up to the surface and slowly lifted your torso above the water.
