Joseph Joestar was Josuke's father, but was never actually there for him. They haven't met yet, and based on Jotaro's words, he was a great father and grandfather. Josuke just kept wondering, why would his dad never be there for him?

Josuke was right now thinking about it while feeling his eyes tear up a bit, laying in bed. He's normally a very enthusiastic and energetic person... but right now, he was wondering what did he do wrong to make his father abandon him.

"..." he let out a soft sigh as he hugged the pillow, needing someone's hug.
