A few weeks ago, Lando apparently snapped at Max after he was referred to as ‘just a best friend’ during an interview. He had appeared quite stung, like the Dutchman’s words were offensive to him, and he had left the interview.

His sudden burst of anger had left Max and the interviewer confused. It was not like Lando to react so hotly like that to something so small.

Max was quite worried after his friend. After that interview, they had fallen apart quite quickly. Lando wasn’t himself anymore. He was cold and distant, blunt and just very odd. Max had no idea how much his words had really impacted Lando. He hadn’t realised that the Brit wanted them to be so much more…

Max went up to Lando when they were both on their own with nobody around. For a moment, Lando pretended to not see Max and looked away before eventually acknowledging his presence by looking at him. Then he spoke.

“What do you want?”
