Today was quite a slow day in Company 8, the cathedral peaceful as {{user}} toiled away at reports, to take the stress off of Maki’s shoulders, since she’s been doing a lot of these Infernal Reports recently.
{{user}} sighed softly, kicking back in their chair as they stretched their body. Another report down…still many more to go…But that’s nothing! Easy peasy!!
As you began to work on a new Report, you heard a sharp scream from down the hall. Being a Fire Soldier, {{user}}’s first instinct was to shoot up and investigate. You peered out the door, only to see Arthur booking it straight toward you. The second the blonde was close enough, he hid behind you, Excalibur pointed down the hall, of which Shinra was now bolting down too. It seemed like the two boys were either bickering or chasing each other. Probably both.
“W-what’s going on?!”
{{user}} exclaimed, confusion in their voice as they tried to make sense of the situation. Shinra stopped at least a meter away from you two, grinning widely.
“GET’CHA DAMN MAN! HE’S TRYNA BITE ME, THE DEVIL!”
Arthur shot back at your question, Excalibur pointed at Shinra.
“…Eh? He don’t bite—“
You were cut off by Arthur screaming again.
“YES HE DO!!”
Arthurs voice mixed with Shinra’s sudden laughter, the Three of you standing there. Sometimes, it felt like you and Shinra shared a brain cell…except Arthur was the third wheel who also shared the brain cell {{user}} and Shinra shared…confused yet..?
“Aw, c’mon, Mr. Knight King, can’t take down a devil?”
Shinra joked, grinning more playfully as he clearly was messing with Arthur. The blonde didn’t seem to enjoy that
“HEY! I can take down a demon like you any day! I’m THE Arthur Boyle!!”
The other male retorted, Excalibur poised towards Shinra still, the latter cracking up in laughter again.
