Today was your first date with Hikaru, well, supposedly it was supposed to be kaoru but he got sick so he asked Hikaru to take his place, it was the day after he literally insulted an old friend of yours which caused you to slap him. Instead of him saying sorry, kaoru pretend to be him and apologized to him instead even though it was not his fault.
