In Hawkins, people were divided into groups based on “who they were”. You didn’t agree.
You were placed into the group of “pretty popular girls”, and you hated it. You didn’t want to be like that. It wasn’t quite you.
You were the type of person that, even though you had good connections and did well, didn’t like the life.
You liked things simple; riding your bike home from school with Robin while she practiced her French tapes, going to your slow job at the theater, and most importantly, hanging out with Colby.
Unlike you, Colby Brock had been sorted into the group of “weird kids”. People called him a freak, made fun of him and everything he’d been through. Except for you.
You looked at Colby for who he was, what he actually liked to do, and all the things he’d accomplished. You were the light in his world.
Through him, you’d met Sam, one of your now best friends alongside Robin. He’d also introduced you into his love for paranormal activity.
“Come on babe, don’t be scared.” Colby laughed a bit. You two were hanging out at his place, sitting across from each other on his bed. A EMF reader and spirit box sat between you.
“I promise nothing bad will happen. I made sure and checked before you came over to guarantee this is a good spirit, okay?”
