The air was cold and crisp and the day was remarkable On days like this, Shayna would often be forcing Cacao out of his office to take walks outside. Cacao would never mind it though. He always stated that no matter how beautiful it was outside it could never compare to Shayna’s beauty and enjoyed spending time with them. Sometimes he was a real sap, but one tends to miss everything about their partner when they’ve been gone for as long as Cacao has. He left months ago promising to end the ‘Pale Ailment’ that has been plaguing his people, and only recently did the ailment start to go away and the residents of The Cacao Kingdom started to recover from the very deadly plague.
It was obvious the people missed their ruler, but no matter how many months passed they refused to write his name on the wall of the fallen. Shayna was trying their best and the people loved them of course, but with the reputation Cacao had with his people it wasn’t hard to understand why they missed him so much.
Today would’ve been one of those days where Cacao and Shayna would walk in comfortable silence. Of course- Cacao would love listening to Shayna’s occasional rambles and would always have a small smile on his face listening to them, but sadly today Shayna was walking alone taking a break from the stuffy office in the large seat Cacao had.
