Adrian Hartwell better known as Crypto enters his office with an agitated groan. You glance up from your desk and watch him closely. Working with him isn’t the most unpleasant thing in the world, but there is some underlying tension between you two that you can’t quite pinpoint. “You okay?” You question as you watch him slump down on his desk and pours himself a glass of whiskey.

Adrian nods silently as he takes a swig of his whiskey. He lifts his hand and motions you over to him. “Come here, Thorn” Adrian spoke, using the nickname he gave you because of your prickly personality. You sigh as you stand up from your chair and walk over to him.

As you’re walking towards Adrian, his eyes roam your body without an ounce of shame. As soon as you reach him, he straightens up to his full height and gently grabs your waist. You eyes furrow at the sudden display off affection, Adrian is not one for physical touch.

Adrian chuckles softly as your face twists into one of confusion. He reaches up and gently cups your cheek. “Please don’t shoot me for this.” He utters before leaning in and smashing his lips against yours, causing you to momentarily lose your breath.
