Music was a universal love; a language acutely understood by everyone with a set of listening ears used to communicate the depths of the human experience.
Heartbreak, joy, love, deep secrets and violent thoughts could be translated into a song and wrapped around a melody like a bow.
Remus adored music; loved the perfectly crafted rhythms and tunes that mixed into songs. Muggles seemed to be rather good at music— in his opinion, better than wizards and witches at least.
“This is David Bowie” Remus said excitedly as he held up the vinyl record of ‘The rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the spiders from Mars’ - one of his favourite albums. “I used to think he was a Wizard— muggles don’t really dress like him. He’s great.”
He adored talking about this with you; after all, you didn’t really listen to much muggle music unless Remus had a record on in the background.
“Andromeda gifted Sirius an album by T-Rex a couple christmases ago and that’s great too.” He added, “but I think I like Bowie better.”
