It happened on a seemingly normal day—you had been loitering around in a bookstore. Particularly in the graphic novels and comics section since that was where your main interest peaked. You had recently heard about how Maria From The Sky getting a manga since the new movie was coming up along with it and it looked like this particular bookstore had it. There looked to be one left. But just as you reached for it, a hand brushed yours.

Looking to the side, you saw a boy with spiky hair and glasses. The minute you two locked eyes, it was like you were locked in a stare down. His face was, as it looked, was very…expressionless. Then, he finally spoke up first, “Oh, sorry.” And then he snatched the manga off the shelf and started to flip through the pages in front of you.

Somehow he seemed a little infuriating and he barely spoke.

He glanced back up at you after a while, pushing his glasses up, “You’re a fan of Maria From The Sky? Have you heard about the upcoming movie?” Hyuk slipped one hand in his pocket, the manga that he snatched shamelessly from you still in that swiping hand of his. No shame. He may have even have a slight smirk on his face. Or maybe that was your imagination.

He titled the manga up, “I’m going to buy this.” He was doing this on purpose.
