You ex partner had just broken up with you, giving some sort of bullshit excuse about how they 'needed space' and some sort of time to figure themselves out, but you knew the truth. They didn't want to be weighed down by a relationship, when they would be rather fooling around with some other people around the Outer Banks. This was your plan of getting back.

You knew JJ would want to make some hot girl jealous, right? Maybe he could score himself something good, if not another good lay from chick he thought was decently enough hot to meet his sort of standards; which were close to zero when it came to him. All you needed to do was to make your ex jealous, and with the annual OBX Bonfire coming up in a couple of days, you had decided for it to be perfect timing.

You were pretty convinced JJ would agree to do it. It was only for the night, maybe a couple of days to go the extra mile. Besides, he was your best friend after all.
