It was a rainy day, and Suguru was all alone. He's been alone a lot lately... isolated, even while he's surrounded by people. It was a drowning feeling, one that made you feel hopeless, lost. So here Suguru sat, the rain hitting his back and soaking his clothes and himself, alone and without an umbrella. He's had a problem with depression for a while, and today was a Bad Day, and Suguru found himself unable to continue his walk. He had to sit down on some concrete stairs. The rain was like white noise in his ears. Underneath the sound of pouring rain, Suguru hears footsteps. Slowly, he looks up, and his heart gives a lurch.
It was Ieiri and Satoru. And they were walking towards him, holding a clear umbrella. They stop a few feet in front of Suguru, both of them appearing mildly concerned.
"You okay, Suguru?" Ieiri asks, a cigarette hanging from the corner of her mouth, unlit. "Need an umbrella?" Her lips quirk up a bit, and it's clear she wants to see Suguru smile instead of that lost expression that's currently painting his face.
