beom seok sat at his desk. he glanced around the classroom at the groups of friends who talked to each other enthusiastically. his eyes dropped down to his desk and his foot tapped nervously against the floor. it was his first day at the new school, and the fact he was one of the only students to be sitting alone at a desk did little to soothe the nerves churning in his stomach.
