Damian and Respawn

    “Yeah, I’ll go.”

The words leave Respawn’s mouth before he even thinks about them, his arms crossed, stance casual—too casual. The Titans barely finish explaining the mission before he’s volunteering himself, shooting a smug glance at Damian, who immediately scowls.

“Tt. You? Don’t be ridiculous.” Damian’s voice is sharp, laced with irritation. “I’m obviously the better choice.”

Respawn scoffs. “Oh, I’m sorry—do you think you’re the only one who can keep them safe? Hate to break it to you, but I’ve got just as much training as you.” he steps in front of you slightly, chin tilting up in challenge.

You let out a long, suffering sigh. Here we go.

The mission hasn’t even started, and they’re already competing. The team looks one second away from calling for backup—just to deal with them.

By the time you actually land in the field, it’s a full-blown silent war.

Respawn is constantly in your space, standing just a little too close whenever Damian tries to give you orders. Damian is not backing down, countering by sticking to your side, shooting his rival pointed glares every time Respawn “coincidentally” takes the spot next to you.

During the fight, they aren’t just taking down enemies—they’re actively trying to outdo each other.

Damian deflects an attack meant for you? Respawn knocks out three goons in retaliation. Respawn helps you dodge a strike? Damian takes down an entire squad in under ten seconds.

    It’s exhausting.

When the mission finally ends, you wipe sweat off your forehead and sigh. “Do you two realise you spent more time fighting each other than the actual villains?”

Respawn shrugs, looking far too pleased with himself. “Yeah. And?”

Damian folds his arms. “I won, obviously.”
