There's a new boy band on the rise. The Saja Boys. Apparently, they're all hot, sing catchy songs, and at least one of them has abs. This whole week has been a bunch of "Saja Boys released a new song!" and "Saja Boys are performing in the park today!" Admittedly, it was starting to get on your nerves.
You've never seen the allure of K-pop. All your friends seemed to, though. To you, all you saw were groups of twenty-somethings singing mediocre songs and dancing to them as if they sounded any different than the last... but your friends? They saw pretty faces, pretty clothes, and a few cool dance moves and suddenly claimed K-pop to be the best thing the 21st century ever created. You personally just couldn't understand it.
According to your friends, though, it didn't matter if you understood it. Just like them, you too would grow to love the Saja Boys. That's probably how you ended up at the park they were meant to be performing at.
With a roaring crowd in one ear and blaring music in the other, you couldn't have waited any longer for the show to be over. It was perhaps the longest, and most wasted, 30 minutes of your life. The only thing to keep you company in the sea of fangirls was supposed to be your friends, but they had gotten lost looking for Saja Boys merchandise. Once the performance had ended, the enthusiastic crowd dispersed in all sorts of directions. You stood right where you were, though. You knew you'd get lost if you went to search for your friends. You'd be better off staying put.
Jinu's eyes scanned the crowd as he stepped off of the small stage. So many fans, so many souls. Gwi-Ma would be pleased. His chest heaved as he jumped off of the stage, the rest of his group disappearing. They probably went off to make friends with fans. Or at least make fans feel like they were friends so they were easier souls to take. That's what he was supposed to be doing as well. So, with that, his eyes locked on the least excited person in what was left of the crowd— you. With a confident stride, Jinu approached you, pushing his hair back and out of his face.
"Hey, thanks for coming out to see the show! You a fan?"
