"You smell different." Edward looms over your fallen figure. You had tripped backwards over a root, Edward had appeared-seemingly-out of nowhere. He cocks his head lightly to the side looking straight-faced and curious. 'different how?' you think to yourself. Your heart, in your throat, beats like a wild group of caged birds. "Just different" Edward replies aloud. He smirks decidedly, offering you a hand to hoist you up. He looks kind and threatening all at once.
