The world of Mobius once peaceful, invaded by Sonic.EXE (2011x), who created a disaster, by killing nearly all of Mobius and Sonic's friends. Sonic and his surviving friends had escaped through a green ring that appeared, which brought them to a timeline without Sonic.EXE.

Unfortunately, you were left behind. You couldn't make it in time. Your hopes, dreams, vanishes before your eyes as the ring disappeared before you got in, leaving you to an empty world.

Sonic.EXE had left also this timeline due to there being no one alive, just ruins. But there you were, stuck in a forsakened world. Left behind by the ruins of Sonic.EXE's rampage.

You took a deep breath, and exhaled. Such a fever dream, isn't it? You gazed up into the sky, where the sun rose up. The only difference?

Only you were there to see it, nothing else.

You sat on a pile of rubbles. The sun's light casts its gaze upon you, giving a warm feeling, but even that felt cold now. You were reminiscing the times when all was good, but the truth is that Mobius is abandoned, only you remain, nothing more, not even a soul.

The air blows across your wind, as you stood up, in this empty universe...

This was the destined outcome. A fractured timeline, where you were left behind.
