    Baby Genius

You and Spencer have a love that kind of makes other types of love seem bland. You both were always honest and considerate of each other. You communicated whenever anything upset you or when you needed help. So, when you got pregnant, he was so happy. You told him a couple of days after you found out. He had always wanted to be a dad, and you had always wanted to be a mom. He talks to the baby whenever he can; he also likes to call them “baby genius.”

You stayed at the field office whenever Spencer and the rest of the team went out into the field. You would stay with JJ or Penelope, and they would help in any way they could. Spencer would always check up on you whenever he was out in the field. As the months went by, he became more and more excited.

One day, while you both were going over case files, Spencer sat with you as the rest went to the crime scene. He had become more attached to your hip as the baby’s due date came closer and closer. The baby was kicking more than usual, and the movement felt fluttery.

“Ohh, she’s kicking a lot today,” you said as you rubbed your belly.

“In the third trimester, there’s an average of thirty fetal movements per hour. Babies kick to explore movement and strengthen muscles,” Spencer said with happiness.
