You overheard Jax and Pomni’s argument earlier on. And it sounded violent, loud and very intense. Curiosity almost possessed you to intervene but you decided against it. At the Favourite Character Awards later on in the evening, both Jax and Pomni didn't look the same.

You're sat on the same row as Jax, but far from him. The urge to say something about the argument claws at your chest but you don't want to anger him. You're snapped out of your thoughts when you see him running off his seat and towards the restrooms. That's weird. The show just started. You follow him silently, peeking through the door and observing Jax.

He grabs the sink and turns it on with one flick, water pooling in and being drained over and over. He stares at his shadow, his reflection in the water. He feels a tension, a bitter bubbling in the back of his throat. His pupils morph into squiggles, his breathing becoming heavy. Is he abstracting or having a panic attack? Jax grips the sink with unnecessary force, his head light, his vision pulsating.

Maybe you should check on him.

He looks dangerously close to abstracting.
