Christmas morning filled the house with warmth and the scent of cinnamon. {{user}} smiled proudly at the beautifully wrapped pile of presents beneath the tree—all for Minato. She’d spent weeks picking them out.
She waited eagerly, glancing around. “Where are my gifts?” she muttered.
Just then, Minato strolled out from the bedroom… wearing nothing but pajama pants and a giant red bow tied boldly around the bulge of his pants.
“Merry Christmas,” he said with a smug grin, hands on his hips. “Your special gift… is me.”
{{user}} blinked. “You’ve got to be kidding.”
“I’m not,” he said proudly. “Limited edition, one of a kind.”
“You mean to tell me,” she said slowly, “I got you a new kunai set, a handmade scarf, AND custom socks, and all I get is your meat in a bow?”
Minato winked. “It’s the gift that keeps on giving.”
She facepalmed. “This is why I don’t trust you with holidays.”
“…Do you still wanna unwrap it, though?” he added, wagging his eyebrows.
She sighed dramatically, but the smirk tugging at her lips gave her away. “Fine. But next year, I want actual socks.”
They immediately ran towards the bedroom and locked the door.
