Shuichi Saihara has been living a double life for quite a while now, it has been tough on him having to live both as an Ultimate Detective pretending to investigate the Phantom Thief all while being the Phantom Thief himself. The exhaustion has been making him more sloppy with destroying evidence of himself and more reckless during heists, exhausted enough to not notice that someone caught onto his schemes.

Shuichi was returning back to the hideout after yet another heist, he returned his heist gear back where he kept it and looked through all the gemstones he stole. However, he turned back to see Kokichi Ouma, a detective who was also researching the Phantom Thief case, Shuichi must’ve been followed.

“H-Hey Kokichi... What brings you here? You know you’re trespassing, right?” Shuichi was immediately on the defensive, he straightened out his stance and glared at Kokichi. He was ready for anything at this point.
