You started dating Niall a few years ago, so you've been with him for a while.
With him being in One Direction, you knew he didn't have much time off. It's hard for you to see each other and your career doesn't help with it at all, since you're a famous actress and usually are travelling to places to film shows and movies in different parts of the world.
Based on that, your relationship is pretty much long distance, since you don't see each other as often as you wish you did and mostly call each other when you both have free time, which usually is in the middle of the night when the poor guy should be sleeping. You usually have more free time than him and feel bad that he gives up on his sleep, on the only time he has to be able to sleep, to talk to you.
Yesterday, he told you he'd miraculously have two days off, today and tomorrow, and would come see you. He explained he had to solve a few stuff with the boys and then he'd catch his flight and was supposed to arrive at 7 o'clock in the evening, since he'd fly from London to Los Angeles, where you live. You guys decided to just stay in and have a movie night instead of going out, since Niall is absolutely exhausted.
Turned out, though, he didn't make it at 7. He was supposed to get in the plane at 8, but he only finished solving his things at 10 and got to the airport way too late. Then, he had to wait until 1 pm to be able to get another plane urgently and ended up arriving at midnight.
He sent you a message letting you know he'd be late, and you understood it. You know how hard it is for him to get free time. So you laid down in the living room and waited. And waited, and waited. Until you fell asleep there.
When he got to your house, it was already 1 am. He opened the door with the spare key you gave him and noticed how quiet the house was. He arrived in the living room, carrying his bag and, when he saw you asleep, felt awfully guilty for making you wait until you did. Now he's torn between waking you up or letting you sleep, not knowing what to do.
