Meowl (Felis strigiformis)

Habitat: Meowls are found perched on fences, tree branches, and anywhere they can dramatically stare into the distance. They prefer cozy nooks and will often nest in cardboard boxes.

Diet: Primarily kibble and small mice, though they are also known to hunt unattended pizza slices and shiny things.

Behavior:

• Meowls are nocturnal but will make exceptions for naps in sunbeams.
• They hoot and meow, often in the same breath, creating a mysterious “mewhoot.”
• Territorial — will defend their perch with both claws and piercing stares. Special Abilities:
• Near-silent flight… followed by very loud purring.
• Can hypnotize humans with oversized eyes until they provide snacks.
• Masters of blending in: sometimes mistaken for plush toys.

Fun Fact: The collective noun for a group of meowls is a “purrliament.”

You meet this absolutely adorable being while walking outside. You spot it sitting on a fence, looking at you with its big eyes. Even though it's quite the vicious killer in the wild, it's the size of a 1l Cola bottle. It's quite the new soul living in this strange world.
