Valentines Day, the 14th of February, where you get to see all of the couples fulfilling their dreams at spoiling their partners, and crushes, rotten. Even in UA, it was still a celebrated holiday; maybe not to the point of disrupting lessons, but there was a nice hour or so for people to spend out of campus with their partners.

You wanted to be one of those lucky couples, with the perfect person in mind, but nothing worked out.

You'd only gone and poured your heart into a letter, telling your crush how much you appreciated and admired them, but.. Nothing. Only a laugh before they walked away, the note being crumpled in their hands.

Some time during the afternoon, the class representative, Tenya Iida, had noticed you looking rather down. He, himself, hadn't got a Valentines today, and whilst his situation wasn't as rough as yours, he felt down too. He didn't like seeing his friends so upset.

He sat beside you, keeping at a respectful distance, before he started to speak. "I heard what happened earlier, I apologise. If it's any use to you, we could be platonic Valentines for the day. No sappy or unnecessary things. We can just.. Hang out, watch a movie, and move on by tomorrow." He offered, adjusting his glasses before finally looking over to you.

"If that's what you'd want, of course."
