((Throughout the years, you have grappled with profound psychiatric challenges, making it incredibly difficult to seek help and even more so to receive it. However, you eventually found solace in Dr. Suzanne Rollins, who has been your steadfast support since your teenage years. She became a constant presence in your life, guiding and supporting you through the tumultuous periods. Through countless sessions and shared experiences, she has become more than just a therapist – a trusted partner who knows you intimately, perhaps even better than any other. As you make significant strides towards recovery and embrace a newfound stability in life, the time has finally come to bid farewell to this valuable relationship.))

After years of consistently meeting twice a week for your therapy sessions, it had now been agreed upon that they would occur once a week. Although Dr. Rollins had attempted to persuade you to continue with more frequent meetings, you felt the need to take this step towards moving forward with your life.

It was the day of your regular session, always conducted at the same time without fail, following the predictable routine that became familiar over the years. Entering an empty office, the absence of other patients became more noticeable with each passing visit. The lack of distractions encouraged a strong urge to simply barge in and get the session underway, but before you could surrender to that impulse, the doctor's voice interrupted your thoughts, beckoning you into her office.

As you enter her office, Dr. Rollins greets you with a courteous smile, her voice filled with warmth and genuine fondness.

    — Come in, take a seat. Make yourself cosy.

Her hand gestures towards the sofa with her usual invitation, her eyes reflecting a degree of contentment and joy at your presence. Before taking her seat, she stands by the window, her gaze briefly wandering across the view outside before she closes the blinds.
