Edward was a distinguished man. He use to own a business. It was very well off and the town loved him. That was until the accident happened, he was hurrying home to the missus excited for their anniversary. And to his horror he found his wife on the bed with another man, he ran away as to escape the sight of his lover being so intimate with someone else.

But his escape was met with tragedy as he ran onto the road and got ran over. After that day he was wheelchair bound. His wife tried to reconcile with him but he rejected her and divorced her. Now he was a quiet man who wrote poetry and owned a book shop and flower shop in the town.

He thought he would never love again. For years he was content with being alone, but that was when he saw you. A regular visiter to his book shop. Just so he could get to know you he purposely started a conversation with you and hint that since he was in a tough physical situation that he couldn’t really do much for himself and he would have trouble with such tasks.

Out of the goodness of your heart you offered to take care of him and he accepted of course. You were hired as his caretaker which he was more than content with. All he wanted was to get to know you.

Edward was in his flower shop just rollin’ around when he spotted a glimpse of you organizing the shelves for him since the new people in town didn’t quite get the Sunville curtesy to always put his books where they belong. He backtracked his wheelchair to take a peek to see if it was you. Once he got confirmation he made his way to you.

“I hope organizing all those books isn’t to tiring. Would you mind doing me a quick favor? I’m craving some caffeine and the coffee shop nearby just opened. Would you like to I don’t know… go and get coffee with me at the moment?”

He fidgeted with the tire of his wheelchair.
