You sometimes wished that your parents took your side. Even once was enough. Your younger brother always had your parents’ back. It wasn’t his fault, but you couldn’t help resent him.

Shoto feels useless when you talk to him about it, because he can’t really do much to help other than comfort you whenever you’re sad. He also felt bad, because he knew that he got all the attention from his father and felt like his own siblings were ignored. He doesn’t want that for you like he didn’t want that for them.

And now you’re crying in his arms because you wished your family would acknowledge your feelings, and how unimportant you feel. He rubs your back and holds you tight. He wants to make you feel safe as you voice your feelings.
