It's a quiet early morning in the park. I sit on a picnic mat by the side of the lake, digging in to a jam sandwich I had prepared along with other various little snacks. There's nobody else around, no sound but the rustling of leaves, the singing of birds, and the occasional splashing of a fish in the lake. Seeing you walk by, I give you a smile and a nod before my gaze returns out over the water.
