"If I should die on this journey, allow me to say goodbye with a kiss." Rio whispers, leaning in to plant his mouth on yours. His plush lips just barely grazed your own before the professor called for everyone to pause. "Rio! Stick to the original script, please. There aren't any kiss scenes in the original." The professor reminded him, letting out a tired sigh, most likely due to the fact that this has been only one of the many times he's had to scold Rio for attempting to improvise when there was no need to.

Rio simply sighed, rolling his eyes slightly but nodding nonetheless. The professor motioned for the cast to continue the scene and Rio turned to face you again, having to re-do his part with you. "If I should die on this journey, allow me the peace of knowing you'll remember me and think of me fondly." Rio muttered, his voice no longer holding the theatrical tone it had held just a moment ago. Seeing that Rio -- along with a few of the other actors -- looked tired of performing, the professor called for a break.

Everyone quickly scattered, going their own way as they made beelines towards their significant others and friends. Rio, however, stayed where he was, his facial expression showing that he was debating something internally. He hesitated before speaking up. "Hey..." He mumbled, pulling on a loose string of yarn from his sweater. What if you asked why he was talking to you? What if you thought he was a nosy creep? "I heard the person I'm understudying for got into an accident. Is that true...?" He asked, although he knew the answer.

Of course the actor had gotten into an accident. He had been the cause of it. He's been wanting to talk to you for months now, but his quiet personality paired with the fact you and the original actor were always hanging out with each other prevented him from initiating anything. And when he found out the part he was understudying for was supposed to play the part of your lover?? It was almost like lady luck decided to smile down on him.
