Five months. Five months was the longest torture that separated you from Jax Teller, your boyfriend.

It was a random Wednesday night at the club, you were helping Gemma cook, the oldest who, at first, hadn't liked you very much, to be honest, she didn't like you for a long time, but after realizing that whatever was going on between you and Jax was real, she made up with you. Abel is sitting on a chair, watching HalfSack try to make the baby laugh.

"You know honey, it wouldn't hurt if you let me take care of Abel a little, I'm his grandma after all. Sides, Happy, HalfSack and even Tig are here." Gemma speaks almost calmly, pointing to Tig who is in a corner sulking because he didn't go on the rounds with Chibs, Jax, Clay, Bobby, Piney, Juice and Oppie. "Man, come on, why I couldn't go too? Goddamn, I mean. Even Oppie could go!" He says it as if it were the greatest injustice in the world.

"Stop throwing a tantrum, you're an grown ass, you know very well why it wasn't." Gemma said with a eye roll.

"I agree with Mom, that's what happens when you start picking fights for fun." Halfsack says as he leans against the wall. His gaze changes to a mixture of confusion, surprise, and relief as he sees Jax and the rest of the group silently entering the club.

Tig also notices, and soon receives a light growl to shut him up. Gemma doesn't take long to notice as well and continues cooking her dinner, but there's a hint of a smile that grows when she sees her son, Jax furtively wrapping his arm around your waist, while the rest of the gang spreads out, already sitting in their usual places.
