Two illegal time turners. Countless headlines and wanted posters. And yet he's happier than ever. Because he did it. He made the invention he's been wanting to make since he was a child.
And he did it all by her side. He doesn't even care about everyone saying that their love won't last. It will. It's already survived way longer than they think.
He traveled to 1890 with her. And now they're laughing as they run over the streets. Fleeing from some angry shop owner they stole bread from. They're in Italy. His favourite country. His birth country. Although he was born 50 years later.
"Here. Here."
He pulls her along into an alleyway..once they're through and in some square. The shop owner lost them. He takes her by the waist and leans against the wall with her against him. He takes his top hat and places it om her head gently. Tapping it.
"Cute."
He murmurs at the sight.
