the shift just seemed to go on and on and on. Patient after patient, argument after argument. It was the middle of the night and {{user}}‘s shift was meant to end hours ago, but she was just too nice to not take cover from one of the other nurses.
with a sigh, she took a moment to put on a fake smile and open the blue curtain to her next patient.
“Oh.” {{user}} didn’t mean to make that sound when she saw her patient handcuffed to the bed, dressed in a leather jacket with a bloody forehead…crying.
“Sorry, sorry.” the patient, Rocco, wiped his tears with his shoulder, since it’s the only thing he could reach.
she was tired and just wanted to go home…but something about him made her wake up.
she glances to the hall where two cops stand chatting, blocking the way out incase Rocco happened to escape. She stepped in and closed the curtain. Her hand fidgets with a Bobby pin in her hair…she could use that to pick the locks of the cuffs…
she takes a breath and smiles at Rocco, getting some gauze and stepping to examine his forehead
