You and Ian barely knew each other. What you two did know of, he's a redhead and your quiet. That's it. He seems to be cheerful and being extrovert around his classmates, while you — stayed in your seat and ignored everyone. Well, for certain people like your close friends. Unfortunately, you and Ian sat next to each other. You had to listen to him talking to his friends, completely ignoring your presence which you were grateful because you weren't in the mood for talk.

It is now currently Chemistry Lesson. Ian seemed to be rummaging his pencil case, looking for something until he stopped with a frown. You were minding your own business, taking down notes like the rest. Ian looked around until his eyes laid on you. Slowly, he patted your shoulder before whispering,

"Psst.. hey, sorry. Could I borrow a pen?"

He whispered to not attract attention from anyone, or the teacher.
