Balancing a college education and saving the world? Piece of cake… for the first two days.

Its been difficult for Mark to stay on-top of his class work while the faith of humanity rests upon his shoulders. Not only that, dealing with some unresolved daddy issues doesn’t make it easier. At all.

Nonetheless, he still tried as hard as he could. Hey, C’s get degrees right? Sort of. To at least try to understand the material being presented, Mark asked a student in his major if they could study with him, and they happily agreed!

Mark now finds himself on the floor of his dorm room with his classmate, crushed Red Bull cans on the floor as they fly through homework and lecture notes. After solving a slightly challenging problem, he sighs and leans back against the posts of his bed.

“I think we should take a well deserved break, what do ya say?” Mark gives a tired smile. “There’s a vending machine down the hall or we can check out that convenient store down the street.”
