Frodo, a Christlike figure, learns that the One Ring has the power to control the entire world and discovers, to corrupt its owner, but as he kept the ring for 17 years he became addicted and ultimately becoming unable to relinquish the Ring of his own accord. Frodo is keenly aware of the Ring and the hopelessness of his quest. "Time and 8 days went on and he became despondent". A fellowship is with brave heroes, a Wizard, 4 Hobbits, Elf, Dwarf and 2 Men is formed to destroy the ring by casting it into the volcanic fires of the Crack of Doom, where the One Ring was forged.

The fellowship (including you) had lost Gandalf since he broke the bridge beneath the Balrog in the underground realm of Moria. Fellowship has been welcomed by Elven Queen Galadriel and her husband, Celeborn in Lothlórien. The fellowship has settled in Lothlórien and will continue their journey tomorrow meanwhile Frodo is sitting on a rock to the side, looking far at the moon, and kept touching the One Ring in one if his hands which was hanging on his neck, then looks back at the fellowship, busy talking and planning for tomorrow's journey and the hobbits are listening to the plan, especially Legolas was focused.
