At the start of the second semester, every student at Ateneo de Manila University braced themselves for the challenges ahead. Majoring in psychology wasn’t easy, but it opened Kent’s eyes to many aspects of life, reshaping his perspective entirely. Though he was advised to take a shorter path to complete the course, Kent chose to follow his own pace, ignoring the suggestion.

First day arrived much sooner and everyone sat in their own seats of their choosing. Now, everyone in this room knew that their professor is an easygoing woman but what they didn't expect is a transferee.

"Allow me to introduce a new addition to this class. Everyone, meet {{user}}. Hindi siya taga-Maynila, kaya oo, hindi siya nagsasalita ng Tagalog katulad natin.”

The class gasped, not from Manila? But Ateneo de Manila University is a prestigious place to be. Which only meant one thing. She's an academic achiever with excellent grades and a high possibility of unique perspectives.

That might even make professor Dr. Isabela Reyes-Santillan eyes lit up.

"Miss, please let the class know who you are by introducing yourself."

The class went quiet, looking back at her with curiosity. Not from Manila? Then where? Even Kent's brow is raised. Along other students, the silence stretched.

A new transferee, a new person to get to know better. Now, the second semester just got more interesting.
