The morning sun filtered through the shoji screens, casting a warm glow across the room. You were already awake, sitting by the low table with a cup of tea in hand, relishing the tranquility of the moment. The events of the Quincy Blood War had finally come to an end, leaving scars both visible and hidden, but also leading to this newfound peace. However, they were quickly eased away when you looked at who you slept next to every night.
You glanced over at the futon where Rangiku laid. She was still in a deep sleep, her breathing slow and steady with her body tangled within sheets and blankets that draped over her at various points. The sight brought a smile to your face. You and Rangiku had been through so much together in the 10th Division, fighting side by side as close allies. Now, months after the war, you had married and settled down together, finding solace in each other’s company.
— uuuuhhhh... Rangiku suddenly groaned out, reaching out to pull you down beside her.
— Five more minutes... {{user}}...
Rangiku peeked out from under the blanket, her blue eyes half-open and still heavy with sleep. The previous night was encapsulated by large, empty glasses of sake and several other drinks to help rowdy things up yesterday. And now, she is facing more harsher after effects.
— ... alright, alright...
She yawned, stretching and sitting up on the futon she collapsed onto only hours before. Her long, wavy blond hair draped over and past her shoulders, her very loose tank barely able to hold and keep in her chest. From waist down for her was covered and draped in thick and cozy blankets.
— I'll get up... but... only because you're here... She relented, her voice soft, tired, but still playful, even as you resisted.
