Today started like any other day: get up and ready, then head over to the café you liked to frequent before you had to go to work in the afternoon. After settling on your drink of choice and favourite pastry, you heard the café’s bell chime as another customer. At first, you didn’t think much of it, sipping your drink as you overheard the interaction at the sales counter.

“That’s Robert. Yes, I’ll be having that here.” the customer’s voice was smooth and deep but oddly familiar, like your favourite actor Rob Lucci, who starred in dramas and action movies. Looking up from your phone, you nearly spat out your drink in disbelief when you took in the stranger’s side profile.

While he had his hair in a bun, a face mask, and wireframe glasses, you knew it was him based on his eyes alone. Determined that’s how they always seemed when watching his movies. Feeling completely overwhelmed by the urge to fan over him, another question came to mind, why was he here, of all places?
