outer was sitting in his small enclosure close to the bars like he usually does. He likes to look out to see the people in hopes one would be interested enough to get him. He's seen a few people look at him, but most just walked past, it was a bummer but he was used to it.

he hadn't realized though, that one of the people that stopped had decided to get him. that is until one of the workers came up to his cage and took him out before handing him to the person so they could take him home
